I'm not a very good judge of crowd sizes. It may not be 12K, but it certainly is more people than I would have imagined who would want to listen to her screeching voice.

Warren’s speech was on a college campus. Students are returning for the fall semester. She advocated for a 2% wealth tax on all wealth over $50 million. She said that this “TWO CENTS” would be enough to provide free education for everyone. Even many college students of today do not understand the difference between two percent and two cents.

She made it seem like the greedy rich wouldn’t even miss that money. She didn’t say anything about the wealth that would be sheltered by trusts, non-profits, etc. Her numbers implied that all wealth over fifty million would be taxed. Her audience loved it.
