No truer words spoken regarding the Beatles. Couldn’t stand them either, because honestly....they couldn’t sing.

I really didn’t dislike the Beatles, listened to their songs, sang along, bought their albums.

What I didn’t care for was the mania at the concerts so no one could hear them.

Back in the day could anyone of the Rock and Rollers really sing?

Fabian was found in Philly sitting on his stoop and next thing VOILA! he’s a R&R star.

I don’t include Elvis, the Everly Brothers, Connie Francis, Paul Anka, Pat Boone or a few others as they COULD sing.

Music is no different than art or literature. I once had a professor who asked us ..what is a classic? Art class was one of my hardest classes. Critique time was brutal. I always hesitate to post my work here. AND I never thought Elvis was a good singer. But I understand many people think differently. What makes the The Beatles different is they wrote and played their music. BUT they also did break through techniques during that time with their instrumental talents...and if they were to have todays high equipment no telling what they would have been able to produce.

That's what so unique about the Rolling Stones. They have grown into the modern tech world. AND I finally like them and their work. I turned down seeing their concert in the 60's because then I didn't like their work.
