That's not what bothers me. I think the designer messed up on the lines of the dress. It didn't hang right in the front. From the waist down should have mirrored her v top. The dress was bottom heavy instead of hugging the hips with splits on each side...it hung short in the middle and long on the sides. Not Melania's usual clean lines. The back on the other hand was Melania's clean look.

Also if he is the defensive person who guards the teams goal he may wear a different color so the refer can easily tell him from the others. He certainly could use his size well in that position.

And, most importantly, bathrooms with showers. I heard a mayor on the radio that did just that. Someone donated the property, others made donations. The citizens of the town were very happy to get their streets and parks back.
And they have councillors that go out there to help people find jobs, clean up, etc.

Good thought. The shooter was the tool. In his state of mind he was easy to control. And since we know people seem to appear at several of these shootings...who was the target?

Was actually thinking of the people on the boat but it could just as easily be for the Texas shooter too.

I think the Taylor/seamstress who fitted the dress goofed. Malania is large busted They made her look even larger! Too many tucks and pleats in all the wrong places. It showed in the uneven hem line.

I can certainly see why you question the boat fire. And who actually sleeps soundly away from home? Its for sure most of us here don't..lol

It was really a sad time.

Yes, when vin Scully was still announcing, he would tell stories - as only he could - about Brooklyn. Many of the old Brooklyn Dodgers have passed away throughout the years, but Vin would have them in the booth & talk to them while announcing the game. They were always a big part of the team, teaching the younger guys, especially when the Dodgers still trained at Vero Beach. Sandy Koufax is still around & has been a very big influence on Klayton Kershaw as well as other pitchers.

the dodgers are going to get the All Star Game next year, and will be modernizing their stadium adding a Koufax statue outside next to Jackie Robinson's.

My mom and dad lived close to Vero Beach and we would take in a game on spring break. Gosh the setting of palm trees lining the center field...beautiful. And the players would be talking to each other in the outfield about their fishing the day before.

Explosions were in the fire. No indication of an explosion starting the fire.
Every one was asleep in the bottom part of the ship. Fire spread very rapidly ....wooden boat

6 crew and 33 passengers

5 crew got off.

When call came in vessels was already in flame. Boat is on bottom, upside down!

Heck, we don't even sleep soundly at home much less away.

I heard that what might have been heard as locked was actually blocked, meaning they would not be able to get out if fire blocked them from reaching the exit, passengers were not "locked" in below deck.
