NIKK....I started to post a simple tweet...then it went in a rabbit hole.....I thought it would NEVER end. People are amazing informational tools. AND twitter is allowing them to all gather information. Twitter is our new information center!
*********************************************************
DARPA...(Official account of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.)
Attention, city dwellers! We're interested in identifying university-owned or commercially managed underground urban tunnels & facilities able to host research & experimentation.
It's short notice... We're asking for responses by Aug. 30 at 5:00 PM ET.
The ideal space would be a human-made underground environment spanning several city blocks w/ complex layout & multiple stories, including atriums, tunnels & stairwells. Spaces that are currently closed off from pedestrians or can be temporarily used for testing are of interest.
ǝpɐɥsʇɥƃᴉu ⋰·⋰
The Enrichment Center is committed to the well being of all participants. Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all.
Don't overlook the denied network of tunnels under Comet Ping Pong, Besta Pizza, and their neighboring 'establishments', all connected *right there* in the very hushed and highly protected D.C. underbelly. 🤐👹☠
Longwood Medical Area tunnels in Brookline/Boston MA fit the bill. Talk to Harvard / Harvard Med. Note: they may not realize theyre there- they are. Theyre full of network and phone cabling and fiber.
Ive worked in those tunnels before. Theres animal testing parts with apes and monkeys and what not.
Chat with the University of Arizona, @UAresearch - my alma matter. The entire campus has a large underground tunnel system, complete with fun security systems and fiber optic communications lines.
Don't ask how I know.
U of A... As in Tucson, correct? @BitAengel
T-town, as some of my friends called it
How about the underground airport in Denver
Thats already full.
Hmm. Strange tweet
it's a trigger code
Tell me more please
You need to read up on mind control and the greenbaum speech:
Miles of abandoned tunnels under the NASA Marshall Space Center in Huntsville, AL. It has a super long straightaway that is hundreds of yards long. It also has fallout shelters from Saturn V testing. It is in a restricted testing area on Redstone Arsenal.
There is an awesome tunnel under Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. Near Court Street. You used to be able to tour it.
Kansas City is a pretty good place. Check out Interstate Underground Warehouse & Distribution or
Guys just contact the city of Seattle, half the city is built on a tunnel network of abandoned, buried streets and buildings.
Suggest looking at Cleveland Veterns Memorial bridge subterranean levels and the Cincinnati subway tunnel
DuPOnt Underground in Washington, DC.
Okay, I read some. Beat me to it.
Try McGill university in Montreal. Underground pretty old and creepy.
Lane Technical High School, Chicago. Tunnels under the campus. Used to be a shooting range down there for ROTC. I was told.
Youngstown State University is criss crossed by tunnels used for utilities.
Try Brown University.
Caltech obviously.
Baltimore has a bomb shelter buried so us kids would stay out on Fayette and Conklin behind seafood restaurant goes for blocks hidden from time under a hill in the parking lot try there.
The University of Texas in Austin has an expansive tunnel complex that is blocked off from the public.
Florida State University has tunnels.
Have you considered using the SSC site in Ellis County, Texas? It has 14+ miles of underground tunnels.

Remember at their convention when the DNC denied God three times. After the first vote something told me there would be two more negative votes. Just too biblical. Since then it’s been all down hell/hill

I already have one leather love seat, and it isn’t cold. I thought it would be as well, but it isn’t. Leather is also much more dog friendly and we have two Golden Retrievers.

This sounds Ike a precursor to the sci-fi novel, Wool.

I have a leather couch and a leather love seat. Love them both. They warm up to body temperature. Got both at a super good price so they don’t match. Who cares.

The agency clarified that the request was in support of the “urban” round Subterranean Challenge (SubT Challenge), a team-based competition to develop and use technologies for navigating unfamiliar underground spaces.
“As teams prepare for the SubT Challenge Urban Circuit, the program recognizes it can be difficult for them to find locations suitable to test their systems and sensors,” DARPA Chief of Communications Jared Adams told Live Science in an email. “DARPA issued this [request for information] in part to help identify potential representative environments where teams may be able to test in advance of the upcoming event.”
The Twitter thread began with a cheery “Attention, city dwellers!” (you know, that thing normal humans say when addressing other humans) and devolved from there into jokes about “demogorgons” from the TV show “Stranger Things.” But it’s remarkable that the official request went up late on Aug. 20 just 10 days before the 5 p.m. EDT deadline on Aug. 30 for someone to offer up a suitable tunnel complex.
Before the agency clarified the purpose of the request, Twitter users made a meme of the request, suggesting all sorts of reasons DARPA might be hanging out in the basement, and the story took on a life of its own. Adams noted that he’d spent his day trying to clear up “misperceptions” about the request.
Anyway, if you happen to be the owner of a buried tunnel system sufficient for DARPA’s purposes, and enjoy the idea of people running around them trying to make the military better at doing war things, you can offer it up by 5 p.m. EDT tomorrow here on this website.
