I don’t get it. We are in a labor shortage in much of the country. Police officers are often ex-military, and have good training that often translates to private security work when they retire.
Why the hell don’t they walk off and get other jobs where they don’t take this kind of abuse?
they have just quit. Major cities have huge #s of vacancies...and they’re still tied up by civil service exams, EO, etc...
