Fight fiercely, Harvard
#2: The Game...(Yale Harvard)
I think the Georgia Tech/Cow College (I mean UGA) game should be in the top 2 of this list. It’s at least a year older than UM/OSU.

I know of 2 series that had to be stopped due to fan behavior
1. NC State and East Carolina due to ECU fans
2. Virginia Tech and West Virginia (Black Diamond Bowl) due to WVU fan behavior
1. NC State and East Carolina due to ECU fans
Was at all of those in the late 70s and early 80s including the one with rioting ECTC fans.
“Stanford vs California should be on this list.”
As should UCLA vs. USC.
The Big Game isn’t much of a rivalry anymore. Stanford fans just can’t be bothered to show up and think Berkeley is beneath them. I believe there coach ended a decades old Big Game week tradition. Sadly, the Notre Dame game is much bigger game for Stanford these days.
Retard them, retard them, make them relinquish the ball!!
Love that rivalry!
Jeeze buddy - that hurt. :)
Pain let’s you know you’re not dead yet...
;)
War Eagle!!
We had Ohio State season tickets for three years and we were at The Game in 1972. OSU won 14- 11. Michigan was 3rd and OSU was 9th in the nation. The coach was Woody Hayes. That place went crazy. They tore the goal posts down.
The Iron Bowl was played in Birmingham for years. We were at the first Iron Bowl game in Auburn in 1989. That game was electric from the ride to Auburn until the toilet paper was thrown on the trees at Toomer’s Corner.
After The Game, Michigan went home and Columbus was quiet. After the Iron Bowl, Auburn and Alabama fans live and work together for a whole year!!
:)
C’mon, AU and UA have seen a lot more of the playoffs than OSU or Michigan. The rivalry may be high, but the stakes rarely are. And really, Big 10 vs SEC? SEC...it just means more.
