Astro Van! A fine choice!

HO,HO,HO!!!
I GOT IT!

For some reason, my friends old Astro van was stuck in my head! I had to know what year it was that he showed me the worn-out plugs???
I used to have an exceptional memory, but somewhere between retirement, being run over on my bike and being a septuagenarian...??? Gone.

I could recall the conversation, who was there but not the timeframe??? I would roll over at night and think of it.

Early this AM it hit!!!
We also discussed the ‘Brown’s Chicken Murders’, a victim lived in the immediate area.

1993!

I believe it is good to work out memories.

Now if only I can remember if I fed the dogs this morning?
Every time I ask them they always say no!!!
And we are running out of dog food?

Thanks for the help.

That is funny. We might suffer from some of the same issues. Fortunately I still have most of my hair because my head is extremely lumpy from all the head injuries. It started when I was a kid growing up with livestock and horses. We mostly rode bareback on which ever horses we could catch the easiest, although we did have our favorites. We would just grab a bit and bridle and round up the nearest victim and adjust the bridle to fit.

It was fine until you turned them toward the barn and they thought they were going to get a reward for their efforts taking us to the Little Holland fast food restaurant a couple miles down the road for ice cream cones. Then it was a wild ride back home!

As soon as I got a ten speed bicycle I realized that was a superior form of transportation. But I got into bicycle racing very seriously and my two strongest suits were hill climbing and bike handling. The way I got good at bike handling was by pushing the limits which meant that I took a lot of spills. I also did get hit and/or run off the road on several occasions by four wheeled steel beasts. So overall I have as many serious head injuries from the bicycles. I am a big believer in helmets these days and won't leave home without one.
