Maybe CNN got their info via UK Daily Mail. Someone on boat nearby is quoted in their article.
Can you imagine an FBI that didn't have someone tipping off CNN?
If you can suicide a guy, you can also have rogue FBI/DOJ/ATF/LSMFT personnel destroy evidence, plant evidence, f up the chain of custody, tip off the bad guys, blow cover, etc. I shall remain un-giddy unless I get more info.
