Someone linked a very moving video of a man President Trump's First Step Act helped exit incarceration - this man suprises his mother at home.

That was pretty awesome. President Trump knows it was the liberals and the deep state agenda, who tore apart the American family units, which is why many end up in prison to begin with. I hope those with a second chance understands this and raises their families correctly.

Driving home tonight, I was thinking about this video and recall President Trump signing that act. Sadly, I wondered if, in addition to the crushing of the family structure you mention, the DS intentionally boosted unfair sentencing against blacks so they could later point to those numbers as “proof” of institutional racism, to convince black people that the entire US was stacked against them and they needed the Dems to help them? *sigh*

I was kinda feeling nostalgic for the days when something like that could never cross my mind...
