The problem is a complex one. One the derps and left have been working on for about 60 years. Maybe longer.
IMHO one of the issues is androgen disruption with these young men. Especially the one in Dayton. Completely effete facial features. That’s not ‘lack of spanking’. That’s exposure to something that blocked testosterone, simulated estrogen, or both. And if it ‘rewrote’ his facial features, what did it do to his neurological features...? Men aren’t supposed to have effete features...
I took environmental microbiology in undergrad school with an actual Russian scientist who had emigrated to the U.S.. (Greek Orthodox, Great guy, Dr. Bartovski). Anyway long and short he was researching the presence of estrogen in the water supply from all the birth control women were on. He posited that women peed the estrogen into the water supply and that water purification did not remove the hormones. He did not suggest that this was intentional but recent developments have made me wonder.
Couple that with the suppression of any masculine behavior in school aged boys, (read ADD and drugs to inhibit normal boy behavior like being fidgety) and you have a recipe for disaster. If you suppress normal biologically driven behavior it has a tendency to resurface in unpredictable and often dangerous ways.
