I don’t know. I only observed that blood is pooled when a dead person lays for awhile. You’re dead and laying on your right side? That’s where blood will pool....
I always think of hanging victims as hanging down, but to do if from a door knob you’re in a half reclined position. There was a show I saw where they put the guy on his belly with the noose around his neck and another around his feet, then cinched it up real tight so the weight of the legs coming down would strangle him.
