Unfortunately I think that if the Presidential nominee is white, he or she will feel compelled to have a black or Hispanic running mate, which either means Harris, Booker, or Castro, or else someone not currently running for President. So Harris is definitely a danger. Maybe if she stays at 1% among black Democrats that will cause her to be passed over.

If, heaven forfend, she became President, she would be the first President in our history with no ancestors born in the United States (or what was to become the US in the case of the early Presidents whose ancestors lived in the British colonies).

Precisely why the founders used the term “natural born citizen”.

To be naturally an American you have to be born here of citizen parents.
Anything else leads to foreign ties that the founders were purposefully excluding.
