I agree with you
I had read that Netflix stock got so high because of investors factoring in future growth. That future growth is no longer there, they have already experienced the future growth. The level of Netflix debt is such that it will be a mammoth task to ever pay it off or even maintain it.most of this original content they’re producing is being paid for with borrowed money.
While I don’t like Amazon’s politics either, we decided for our streaming content to just use Amazon prime and take advantage of the prime shipping now and then. So we get streaming content and prime shipping for less than we’re paying Netflix right now. And I personally don’t care if I see the TV shows that were hot 3 years ago. Also some of Amazon’s original content is better than Netflix for my taste.
I’m also pretty conversant in newsgroups and that takes care of a lot of my interests.

I got a similar deal with Spotify. Since I already bought Spotify premium for ad-free music streaming that I listen to every day, they merged with Hulu and gave me a free membership to Hulu (with ads) for no charge. Not a bad deal, even if Hulu doesn’t have too much great content.
