I was just going to post a link to a tweet that had the cha n WORD in it - now I’m gun shy.
The forbidden string is “8”, “c”, “h”, dot, “n”, “e”, “t”
That can’t appear as a link, plaintext, obfuscated link, etc. There is an IP address that hooks to the under-construciton site, and that detail is forbidden information here, no doubt.
At this point, I think the strings 8chan, infinitychan are not objected to. They, like my punctuated expression above, ID the site but don’t provide a URL that can be cut and paste.
If the string 8chan is forbidden, lordy. Plenty of news articles use that string recently. Here is a CNN article, for example, that has “8chan” in the body of the article.
