How about a big, fat no to that. So, now we are going to give people blood tests to see what they are on and judge without knowing all the facts? Just because someone sees a therapist and is on an antidepressant or anti-anxiety drug or drinks alcohol does not mean they are irresponsible gun owners. So if some gal was raped, needs therapy, is on meds and has a valid need for protection, she won’t get it because she’s on say Prozac and is seeing a therapist? And will criminals comply with this? We cannot legislate evil. Evil will happen regardless of the weapon. Look at Britain and their stupid ideas regarding knives these days. Cain murdered his brother with a rock. Evil is evil is evil is evil and nothing but Jesus himself is going to stop it.
Legislating a ban on firearms purchases by people who are on psychotropics or have been on them for X years prior is probably one of the main reasons they are prescribed like candy to school kids...
