I just had a “number neighbor” text and ask how I was doing.

I got one of those on Saturday. Just read "Hey number neighbor." I ignored it.

I get loads of spam phone calls from the same area code as my mobile phone although I no longer live in that area. I figured this was the latest variation on "spoofing."
