From my understanding 8chan is being forced onto what is refereed to as the darkweb. The media liked to report that were on the darkweb, but they never were until now.

“The Dark Web is a term that refers specifically to a collection of websites that exist on an encrypted network and cannot be found by using traditional search engines or visited by using traditional browsers. Almost all sites on the so-called Dark Web hide their identity using the Tor encryption tool.”

If my understanding is correct then people won’t be able to access 8chan anymore with a normal browser. They will need something like the TOR browser to access it.

Neon has this to offer:

“Looks like Codemonkey is going the Tor route, for now.

Don’t worry folks, when the time comes, I’ll get a primer together to explain how to access it easily. It’s not hard at all, and I’m sure many here already know how.”

The Brave browser makes Tor as easy as pie. Under the File menu, just select "New Private Menu with Tor". Then you're surfing anonymously.
