Visitor ID, Guest ID...same thing.

ID enables you to wander around w/o a ‘chaperone’ or ‘handler’.

You can go/come at will w/o hanging out in the lobby waiting for your handler to fetch you to your appointment. And you can leave when you choose w/o waiting for someone to walk you out past the badge access points.

I never ever knew a fired employee to have a guest ID badge after that.

Never.

Worked corporate for 20 years too. Several businesses/industries.

I knew a few who were REhired subsequent to their firing by another department.

Which brings up the question...has he been rehired...?
