Today in hate

After denouncing hate on Sunday, Democrats went back on Monday to calling for violence against conservatives.

In Kentucky, Mitch McConnell is convalescing at home after breaking a shoulder.

Nancy’s Army went to his house to harass him. He’s 77.

The New York Post reported, “Gun control supporters stood outside Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s home in Kentucky on Sunday night — protesting and hurling death threats at him — while broadcasting on Facebook Live.

“’Murder Turtle!’ the demonstrators can be heard shouting on video, in reference to McConnell’s infamous nickname.

“’Come out, come out, wherever you are,’ a person says at one point, while the others continue to yell.

“’The bitch home — we keep seeing the lights go on and off,’ another says. ‘This hoe really thought he was going to get ready to be at home after he hurt his little punk ass shoulder. Bitch, don’t nobody give a f–k! F–k your thoughts and prayers, Mitch. F–k you, f–k your wife, f–k everything you stand for.’”

Who paid to transport these villains to Kentucky? Who paid for their meals and lodging?

Republican McConnell’s predecessor as majority leader, Democrat Harry Reid, injured himself on a TheraBand exercise device. No one sent bands of “protesters” to disturb his rest or to try to intimidate him.

Then there is Congressmuslim Rashida Tlaib who mocked Jewish prayer.

She tweeted to Ivanka Trump, “Your prayers aren’t working. Try checking your dad on his tweets. 251 mass shootings in the U.S. in 216 days.

“He incites violence every day with his hate agenda and racism. More people are dying b/c he fails to fight white supremacist terrorists.

They are the ones who hate America.

The “mass shootings” as she called them are largely by Democrats in Democrat areas such as Baltimore and Chicago. Both gunmen in El Paso and Dayton were registered Democrats. One was an Elizabeth Warren supporter.

It gets worse. The Washington Examiner reported, “A Trump adviser with 38 years in law enforcement, who appeared on Fox to dismiss charges that the president hasn’t done enough to stop mass shootings, said that he has been threatened and the FBI and U.S. Secret Service are on the case.

“Navy reservist and former FBI terrorist task force member Steven Rogers, after appearing on Fox yesterday, was threatened on a blog by a man who said he could be shot ‘with a bullet hole through his chest. That’s our reality now. We’re all just waiting our turn.’

“Rogers, speaking from his Nutley, New Jersey home, said, ‘this could be a trigger, what he wrote. Maybe this guy Rogers should be shot. This is serious.’”

We must take every threat from Democrats seriously because as we discovered once again this weekend they too have guns and are willing to shoot.

Trump circumvents Congress to block foreign aid

The Trump administration has frozen at least $2 billion in foreign aid and ordered a review of the spending, which has already been approved by Congress, reports the Washington Post.

Why it matters: President Trump is circumventing Congress in a move one Democratic aide told the NYT could “set a precedent for future administrations to ignore spending bills and eliminate spending obligations.”

Trump’s previous attempts to cut foreign aid in budget proposals were rejected by Congress, per the NYT.

The big picture: Trump has been itching to limit foreign aid spending, per the NYT. This move could cut funding for all programs and projects that have yet to receive money this year.

Trump has previously threatened to cut foreign aid to Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador if they didn’t work to reduce the number of migrants crossing into the U.S.
Trump also cut more than $200 million in aid to Palestinians.

What’s next: Following a review by the Office of Management and Budget, money for projects deemed unimportant will be returned to the Treasury Department. Congress will have 45 days after that to either approve or block the move, per the NYT.
