I see, so private sales would be subject to the Nics check?
White House drafting executive order to tackle Silicon Valleys alleged anti-conservative bias
https://www.politico.com/story/2019/08/07/white-house-tech-censorship-1639051
The White House is circulating drafts of a proposed executive order that would address allegations of anti-conservative bias by social media companies, according to a White House official and two other people familiar with the matter a month after President Donald Trump pledged to explore “all regulatory and legislative solutions” on the issue.
None of the three would describe the contents of the order, which one person cautioned has already taken many different forms and remains in flux. But its existence, and the deliberations surrounding it, are evidence that the administration is taking a serious look at wielding the federal governments power against Silicon Valley.

My state allows private sales.
Note the special names given the candidates in the paragraph. ;)
Reuters Post-Debate Poll: Biden 22%, Bernie 18%, Warren 8% and Harris 6%

Reuters/IPSOS conducted a poll [see here] following the second round of Democrat debates. The latest results show Creepy stayed the same at 22%; Crazy gained 2 points and is now 18%. However, Spank Me lost almost half of her support, now 6%; and Howdropped to 8%. No-one else registers anywhere close to being a contender:
That’s too funny because if you add up support for the front-runners, “Candidate Other” is winning overwhelmingly at around 39%.

So is a Nics check a background check or something else?
My position is if someone is a dangerous psychotic they should be in a mental institution. Then they can’t buy guns or go anyplace to kill people.
Just left Dayton, Ohio, where I met with the Victims & families, Law Enforcement, Medical Staff & First Responders. It was a warm & wonderful visit. Tremendous enthusiasm & even Love. Then I saw failed Presidential Candidate (0%) Sherrod Brown & Mayor Whaley totally.....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2019
....misrepresenting what took place inside of the hospital. Their news conference after I left for El Paso was a fraud. It bore no resemblance to what took place with those incredible people that I was so lucky to meet and spend time with. They were all amazing!o— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2019
Renewals? I live in OR, just a Nics check and that’s it. CA is bad for guns no doubt about it.
Here is a link to the image.
The John of God pedo in Brazil who, iirc, recently got arrested, was connected to big names, some US names, can’t remember them. I would like sources about this, and his mother being Latino, as well.

Yes.
ALL gun sales would be subject to govt approval. And they want to tie it (via a loophole in HIPAA) to your medical records.
So they’d have a database of who owned what AND could restrict your owning anything based on the opinion of any health professional you’d ever seen.
So your state’s private sales would become illegal.
As would they all.
Even inherited guns would be subject to govt approval.
Once CINC is back home he can resume the truth-telling about the two shooters.
Is this some proposed legislation with all these details? Or basically fears that people have? Or have Dems/gun haters listed all these restrictions?
The mental health stuff I think is a good idea is what I proposed above. Dangerous psychotics belong in mental hospitals.
Just based on his mugshot, he’s not exactly a candidate for hitler youth...
I’ll send you a true to life story of one of my experiences before the night shift comes on.
Thanks for the vid.
It’s about registering guns. The NICS is SUPPOSED to be deleted after the check is approved. And it only applies to new purchases from an FFL.
They want a record of all transfers. Even if a father gives his son his deer rifle, or you sell a firearm to a friend. They want registration.
How about pinging the common browser portals? Open a new tab in the browser that is operating at the time.
Spitballin’
Thanks for the effort, Steven W. Perhaps the only copy that will ever appear. sigh
Here’s the problem they would face.
Feds can only regulate trade between the States.
Buying your neighbors gun is a private transaction, akin to purchasing a coffee-table at a yard sale.
And, what is done about gifted firearms? MY SIL gave me his GFs Browning 16.
It’s gonna be a cluster folks.
Yes, dangerous psychotics belong in hospitals. No argument.
These aren’t ‘fears’. The dims have telegraphed for years their intentions. The whole idea behind closing the ‘gun show loophole’ (that they’ve harped about for 30 years) is to make every single gun sale go through the government (who would then have a record of every single gun and who owned it). They’re absolutely adamant about that btw. And apprently trump is on board with it as well given his remarks this morning.
These ‘restrictions’ are the ones being proposed currently.
They aren’t talking about putting mental health candidates in hospitals. That would restrict their rights. Or something.
BTW, from the standpoint of national security in light of any land based invasion (think Red Dawn), having all this information in a database is a REALLY bad idea. Not just some hypothetical sci-fi plot either, just imagine your local drug lords want guns... And given all the data breaches, it would NEVER be secure and you’d NEVER know who exactly knew what guns you had. Imagine having a centralized national database of all jewelry over $1000 in value. How valuable would that database be to those who meant harm?
No doubt it will be a cluster.
The government wanting information on every single sale reminds me of the mark of the beast actually...
Getting back to that...
Does it strike anyone that having that much hard currency in a single storage area says something about our currency system.
The US economy doesn’t miss that much money! Yet is the equivalent of the GDP of a 3rd world country.
