Florida state Sen. Lauren Book is working to make sure a male-dominated legislature isn’t allowed to limit a woman’s access to abortion.
She has filed a bill calling for a constitutional amendment that would prohibit the Florida House of Representatives and Senate from voting on a bill that would affect access to abortions unless at least half of the members voting are women.
“No vote about us without us,” Book told the Tallahassee Democrat.
The vast majority of the legislature in both chambers are men. Men make up 70% of both the House and Senate.

Let’s carry this idea to its logical conclusion. Gay males are not allowed to vote on abortion because they have no stake in the pregnancy. Wonder how well that would fly in liberal circles? At least one heterosexual male has a stake in the pregnancy.
What rational, thinking person believes that there is any chance whatsoever this country is going to come back from the insane identity politics that have permeated every single aspect of our lives?

A constitutional amendment?
Do any of these morons understand the principle of having a state constitution? Florida’s Constitution gets amended for so many things that are not constitutional issues. And some of them are just down and out stupid.
Smoking in bars, turtle nets, pig farms. Just a sampling of the issues that are addressed via constitutional amendments. They are essentially governing by referendum by doing this.

Yep. I expect a run for governor or senate is in her future.
Sounds like a good idea. Since men can’t have abortions (no wait, you know...) they shouldn’t vote on them.
Let’s extend then. Since we cannot have abortions, we also cannot be made to PAY for them. And we’re no longer responsible for the children since we have no choice on whether or not to have them.
Let’s carry this idea to its logical conclusion.

Let’s expand “No vote about us, without us”:
No vote on gun ownership unless 50% of those voting are gun owners.
No votes on suppression of conservative ideals unless 50% of those voting are verified conservatives.
No votes on taxation unless 50% of those voting are in the target demographic (middle class workers).
I’m sure there are many more....
But easily circumvented when the male legislators decide they are Trannies for the day of the vote.
Illegal, wrong, and unconstitutional. But none of that matters to the insane left.
