Say what you will about Charles Manson, he really empowered women to pursue excellence in traditionally male-dominated fields. Libs try to place Manson as an outlier and a far right extremist white supremacist.

Weather Underground championed his actions. In the Oscar nominated (and PBS aired) documentary about the Weathermen they say that the establishment used Manson to slur the hippie movement and get people to fear groups like the Weathermen.

Manson was an example of the drug addled runaways George Harrison encountered when he visited Haight Ashbury in the 60s (George abandoned drugs after that abd sought mysticism).
