Oh c’mon. I bet half the dates my now wife and I went on were between $10-$20, if they weren’t free, because we were just enjoying spending time together. Lousy excuse.
When I dated, “Dinner and a Show” was McDonalds and “Hawaii Five-O”.
A picnic under the stars. A walk in the park and a loaf of bread to feed the ducks or birds. Make dinner for each other. Free admission day at the museum or zoo or a local festival. Geocaching. A drive in the country. Camp out. Breakfast at an outdoor cafe to do the crossword together and people watch. Float down a lazy river. Take them to your nephew’s little league game. Take them to meet your family.
