I wonder if there isn’t some unspoken agreement that it will be difficult to impossible to convict without the spouse testifying that they did not want children or that they didn’t like the children.

You kind of get an idea of what court testimony will be like.

Maybe in a Court he won’t be found guilty. But he’s guilty in the court of Public Opinion.

Convict on what? If they couldn’t prove murder, then how about manslaughter? Abuse? Neglect?

There were a number of charges they could have brought against the perp.

The DA simply refused to do his/her job.
