while the “horror” is the front cover of the stories of these cities, the back story is the HUGE amounts of graft, corruption and skimming off the Federal Funds being sent to these cesspools to “bail them out” ;
The graft runs BOTH ways-back into Congress-back into the pockets of those in DC that pass the legislation authorizing bailouts, and also into the local pols pockets that created the mess. Its a “wash-wash” both ways which you and I pay for.
This is the PRIME reason there are such messes. Democrat “stupidity” is the cover under which they operate.
