Regarding Impeachment:

Clinton became only the second American president to be impeached (the other being Andrew Johnson in 1868)[a] on December 19, 1998, when the House formally adopted the articles of impeachment and forwarded them to the United States Senate for adjudication.

Regarding Censure:
“.......................

Only one U.S. president has been censured by the United States Senate. In 1834, while under Whig control, the Senate censured Democratic President Andrew Jackson for withholding documents relating to his actions in defunding the Bank of the United States.
...............................”

Censure vs Impeachment
“......................
A censure is an expression of the Congress’s extreme displeasure. It is most often applied to members of Congress who have committed egregious violations of Congressional rules. It has also been used against the presidency (Andrew Jackson was censured, Bill Clinton was almost censured [but they chose to impeach instead], and a bill was introduced to censure George W. Bush for his warrantless eavesdropping program). Cabinet officials and other members of government (including the judiciary) can also be censured.
..................................”

So there is a difference and its an important distinction! Slick was never censured but was impeached, it led to a Senate trial. Censure is a slap on the wrist, it leads to bad PR- maybe! Obviously Jackson didn’t care!
