That’s part of the risk the driver takes for doing the job. He can always refuse to accept orders from that particular pizza place.
I just don’t understand the folks on this thread who think the restaurant is at fault or liable for the delay. Obviously none have a concept of how a commercial kitchen operates.
Maybe because they caused it by making a commitment to a time frame in the first place?
After all the restaurants are benefiting the most.
