Cindy Orozco didnt expect to be punched in the head by a delivery worker when she arrived at her job at Good Pizza in Los Angeles last March.
The blow came from an enraged food delivery worker who stormed into the tiny pizzeria demanding, Wheres my fing order?
When she told him it wasnt ready, he threw the contents of a tip jar across the small Playa Del Ray eatery, according to interviews and surveillance video footage obtained by The Post.
Things escalated when Orozco and the courier who was sent to Good Pizza by food delivery giant DoorDash got into a physical confrontation. The courier fled without the order.

He shouldn’t have hit her, but her company was most assuredly costing this man money. Who knows how nasty she got with him, or how many times this has happened.
How much does the delivery add to a moderate purchase?
That is an insane and ridiculous comment. Just plain dumb.
>>>The courier fled without the order<<<
I understand that. I actually read the Article.
My question was, did the Customer ever get the Food they paid for? What about the poor starving Customer? The Article didn’t address their dilemma. They were forgotten.
Ever heard of the word “facetious”? #;^)
Sometimes I am thankful carry out delivery is not available where I live and probably NEVER will be. We keep a supply of frozen pizza and other goodies for those times neither the wife or don’t feel like cooking or going out.
You’re kidding, right?
“Can you blame the drivers? If the driver is there on time the restaurant should be held totally liable, maybe $5 per minute while the drivers waiting.
The driver is getting totally hosed.”
ROTFLMAO at your post.
I’ve known a few girls, usually Italian, in Delis and Pizza joints around LI who woulda’ cut this slobs heart out and ten gotten their boyfriend, brother, husband. father to beat him to paste.
Getting tough in pizza joints in some places ia a dicy proposition.
I looked it up. $6-8 bucks + tip.
Hiring help via a computer system can let idiots slip past much more easily.
Idiots are more likely to be members of the irregular workforce.
This third party could be dipping his testicles into your salsa.
This sort of behavior has been made acceptable by the cretans on the left
“Screw the restaurant. There was nothing the driver could do.”
Screw the f*ing driver.
I know a half dozen Uber and Lyft drivers through my siblings and nephews. Long hours, not that great of pay, fair number of jerk customers. Anything but a dream job.
It’ll be interesting to see how this format evolves in the next 5-10 years.
No.
Screw idiots who defend a business model where douche bag businesses can try to pawn off losses caused by not meeting their promises to the customer on a third party.
The driver was rational as has been pointed out.
There will always be irresponsible turds like the restaurant management and one hundred percent of their irresponsible defenders, but other people don’t have to condone turds like them.
In 10 - 20 years these will all be "driverless".
So far I have not had any problems with it either.
Yes. I've even heard of "sarchasm"... };^P>
In 10 - 20 years these will all be “driverless”.
They will pry the steering wheel out of my cold dead hands.
And we can be disgusted by filthy douchebags who think that it is okay when the restaurant tries to saddle the driver with getting docked for their inability to meet their obligations.
We have the right to be nauseated by irresponsible Snowflakes who stink like that.
You see how reciprocity works.
You’ve fully earned it.
We’re not quite there yet.
