Such an organization could call itself anything they want usually, something like this as a ploy to sucker money out of the unwary.
I am a proud member of the LUTHERAN Church Missouri Synod. We are a REAL Lutheran Church. It is an embarrassment that this fake group uses the name “Lutheran” because there is nothing Lutheran about them. They are a left wing political organization. It is easy to spot these fake “churches” as they all belong to the National Council of Churches., with the exception of the Catholic Church.
