I became aware of the existence of a world of ritualized child abuse back in the ‘90s through some psychologists I knew. I read about McMartin, MK-Ultra, Satanism, female mutilation by Muslims as well as raping their male children, allegations of child rape by famous politicians (e.g., Cathy O’Brien’s story) ... etc.

I started reading about it mid 80’s but friends worried about anyone who would even read such accounts (like it would harm me) and I was eventually persuaded out of believing it by church and MSM resources who assured me that it was made up hysteria.
Early last year I began researching it again and once again, nice people worried about anyone who would read such stuff. :/
I watched the most haunting video interviews of victims and one’s psychologist asking, “Why is it when it’s my clients saying they were ritually abused by satanists, no one believes them? Then a torso of a child victim is found lying on a pentagram in a forest after anonymous tipsters reported seeing occult activities and finding alters etc., and then everyone is 100% shocked that such a thing could ever happen?” And basically, he indicated that it was rinse and repeat - his victims would be accused of lying, evidence would be found - shock the public etc.

I got to know a young woman in the 90s who was a victim of Satanic Ritual Abuse. She had multiple personality disorder and I spent a weekend with her meeting a bunch of her "alters". I was convinced of the reality of her disorder when I watched her eyes change color with a different "person"!
BTW.... a number of her own family didn't believe her.
