Had mine out at 20. Hemorrhaged in the middle of the night. Emergency surgery at 3 am. Still can’t stand plain yellow jello. For months before was dealing with swollen glands and strep infection. My dear mother made milkshakes for me for six weeks and fed them to me. We didn’t find the abcess that was causing the problem for almost fifty years. Broken nose at 15 started it. Point of telling all this: one little thing can grow and cause multiple problems if not dealt with
I still have my tonsils. Think I’ll try some fried rice later. Well, maybe I’ll lose a few pounds.
