“John who?” That was the typical response yesterday as I reached a slew of current and former US officials and others in counterterrorism involved in the decade-long Holy Land Foundation probe and trials and told them @RepRatcliffe claims he was a “special appointee” in the case.
Didn’t think 20 years after I first did investigative reporting on Holy Land Foundation’s links to Hamas that I’d be digging through my old files and calling old sources trying to link the prosecution to a Texas lawmaker few had heard of before he lit into Bob Mueller last week.

Sean Davis(FDRLST)...... Weird how you never bothered to call one of the lead prosecutors in the case, who confirmed Ratcliffe's special appointment and praised his work and character. Did you intentionally not contact him, or was it just incompetence?
