Baltimore’s homicide rate in 2018 was 56 per 100,000 people. That tops the 51 per 100,000 rate in El Salvador and dwarfs the rates of 40 and 22.4 in Honduras and Guatemala respectively.

....I recall Cummings inviting refugees from these countries to Baltimore.

Depending on when they are doing my eye surgery, I would love to attend. I could make Sept or Oct. I’m going to see my grandson in the Coast Guard in Juno AL from August 21st to the 28th. He is being transferred to Hawaii in Sept. I see the eye surgeon on August 16th to schedule surgery, so early Sept maybe out.
