I have been surprised at how tiny the Virgin islands are and how close they are together.

I have a call into the power company to confirm. There are a number of islands which they supply. They are still putting together the power and water system after the hurricane and have done work on Waters island and Hassel island so it appears that they routinely supply some of the closer islands with utilities.
