What three of the four angry people from different nationalities are saying about our country and our president...

Freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib declared Thursday night that the newly installed Democratic majority in the House will “go in there and impeach the motherf-—er,” breaking with party leaders and stirring controversy just hours after officially taking office.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and other top Democrats have been largely hesitant to promise President Donald Trump’s impeachment, preferring instead to wait for the results of the ongoing Russia investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller. But Tlaib (D-Mich.) and others in the newly installed House have expressed an eagerness to begin impeachment proceedings even before Mueller issues a final report.

“When your son looks at you and says, ‘Momma look, you won, bullies don’t win,’ and I said ‘Baby they don’t,’ because we’re going to go in there and we’re gonna impeach the motherf——er,” Tlaib said at a party Thursday night. Video of the congresswoman’s remarks was captured and posted to Twitter by user @_NestorRuiz and were reported by journalists from The Washington Post and The Huffington Post.

Earlier Thursday Tlaib’s hometown newspaper, the Detroit Free Press, published an editorial she co-authored in which she called for impeachment proceedings against Trump to begin, albeit in a much more measured tone.
Pelosi on Friday said she wouldn’t have necessarily used the same language as Tlaib, and that her comments did not represent the position of all House Democrats. But Pelosi also pointed out that the president himself is known for using similarly coarse rhetoric.

“I don’t think it’s anything worse than the president has said,” she said at a town hall hosted by MSNBC, adding later that “some of the words that he uses have a direct impact on people’s lives. My colleague’s comments do not have an impact on people’s lives.”

“Generationally, that would not be language I would use, but nonetheless, I don’t think we should make a big deal of it,” Pelosi argued.

Tlaib, the first Palestinian-American woman and one of the first Muslim women elected to Congress, had been sworn in earlier Thursday on Capitol Hill. Her office did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but Tlaib doubled down on her comments Friday morning on Twitter, claiming that Trump’s presidency is a “constitutional crisis.”

“I will always speak truth to power,” she wrote, including the hashtag “#unapologeticallyMe.”

“This is not just about Donald Trump. This is about all of us. In the face of this constitutional crisis, we must rise,” she added.

Asked to address the growing criticism of her remarks and language, Tlaib refused to apologize Friday evening and instead said that her choice of words is not any different from how her constituents talk.

“I am very passionate, and I grew up in an incredibly beautiful, urban community — the city of Detroit — born and raised,” she said during an interview with a local TV station. “We say colorful things in interesting ways, but I tell you, the president of the United States is my focus. The residents back home are my focus.”

Trump responded to Tlaib’s comments directly on Friday afternoon, saying she “dishonored herself.”

“This is a person that I don’t know. I assume she’s new. I think she dishonored herself, and I think she dishonored her family,” he told reporters at a news conference. “Using language like that in front of her son, and whoever else was there, I thought that was a great dishonor to her and to her family. I thought it was highly disrespectful to the united States of America.”

Asked about the video on Friday morning, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairwoman Cheri Bustos (D-Ill.) neither condemned nor endorsed the
comments.

“Well, passions are running high,” she said in an interview on CNN’s “New Day.” “Let’s just leave it at that, okay?”

Bustos, who represents a rural Illinois Congressional district where Trump won in 2016, also echoed Pelosi’s calls to hold off on impeachment talk until Mueller finishes his investigation.

Rep. Jerry Nadler, the New York Democrat who now chairs the House panel that would initiate impeachment proceedings, was more firm in his objection to Tlaib’s language. In an interview with CNN, he also threw cold water on the idea of guaranteeing impeachment.

“I don’t really like that kind of language. But more to the point, I disagree with what she said. It is too early to talk about that intelligently. We have to follow the facts,” he said, instead promoting legislation Democrats plan to take up that would shield Mueller from outside influence.

“We have to get the facts. We will see where the facts lead,” he said. “Maybe that will lead to impeachment. Maybe it won’t. It is much too early.”

Woke assimilation: Teaching our politicians to hate America

Beto O’Rourke — the losing Texas candidate for the US Senate who bootstrapped his way into becoming a losing presidential candidate — had a message for refugees who had come to America: Your new country is a hellhole.

The former congressman told a roundtable of refugees and immigrants in Nashville last week: “This country was founded on white supremacy. And every single structure that we have in this country still reflects the legacy of slavery and segregation and Jim Crow and suppression.”

Just in case the newcomers were inclined to believe that they had escaped to the greatest country on Earth — an open, dynamic, generous society that, whatever their struggles now, will afford them opportunities unimaginable back home — Beto was there to tell them of all its sins.

He had made himself into an instrument of woke assimilation.
This is the backdrop of the controversy over Ilhan Omar, the Somali-born left-wing member of Congress whom President Trump urged, in particularly noxious tweets, to return to her native country and fix it before presuming to tell us what to do.

It’s a mistake, though, to think that Omar is anything other than on her way to total assimilation, only on the terms set out by Beto O’Rourke.

America has two assimilation problems. One is immigrants feeling only a tenuous connection to America and getting isolated in ethnic enclaves. The other is immigrants like Omar — and some of her second-generation colleagues — assimilating into the America of identity politics and grievance.

They have learned to speak not just English but the language of oppression. They understand our system — at least no less than the average officeholder — but hold it in low regard. They know our history, as taught by an instructor cribbing from Howard Zinn.

They may be citizens, but they are certainly outraged victims.

According to a profile in The Washington Post, Omar felt betrayal immediately upon getting to America.

“I arrived at the age of 12 and learned that I was the extreme other,” she explained, noting bullying when she was in school in Arlington, Va., an affluent Washington, DC, suburb. “I was black. I was Muslim. I also learned I was extremely poor and that the classless America that my father talked about didn’t exist.”

Somehow, despite all the depredations, she gained a seat in Congress. It wasn’t peans to her new home that paved her way, but the tropes and priorities of a progressive left, as you’d expect from a former director of the Women Organizing Women Network.

Omar doesn’t represent a majority-minority district. She started her elected career, as The Washington Post puts it, by getting to know “older peace-and-justice hippies.”
She attended Black Lives Matter protests and established relationships with all the left-wing groups in Minneapolis.

Most of these people wouldn’t object to, indeed would welcome and expect, her adversarial posture toward the country where she gained more notoriety and power than the vast majority of the native-born.

Her narrative is the narrative of American malignancy. The Washington Post wrote of her ambush of Trump official Elliott Abrams at a hearing: “For decades people like her had been on the receiving end of US foreign policy. Such people typically get ‘beaten into submission,’ she said. Now, Omar was the one delivering the beating.”

Her default is to blame America first. She explained that local Somali Americans attempted to join the Islamic State as a function of “systemic alienation.” She contends that she has met American veterans “who say the most horrendous things, who have complete disregard for life.” And she has accused her congressional colleagues of singling her out for demonization.

Anyone who thinks these attitudes are alien to the United States has never been to a modern college campus or watched MSNBC.

********************************************************

In short, whatever foolhardy things Trump may tweet, Ilhan Omar is not suited to return and fix Somalia — rather to join a segment of the American elite.

This to me is a direct slap in the face...how dare some idiot the likes of this Somalia scum come into OUR COUNTRY and get elected to OUR GOVERNMENT and think she is a segment of the American elite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The American Elite are the Veterans that have died giving their all for OUR FREEDOMS, and the Veterans that, thank goodness, are back on American Soil after fighting for OUR FREEDOMS...Our Police Officers, local, State, Country and Federal; Our ICE people who are right now on OUR SOUTHERN BORDER trying to keep this scum OUT OF OUR COUNTRY...

And this idiot thinks she's part of OUR COUNTRY??? NO SHE ISN'T AND NEVER WILL BE...where in this article does it say she was Born on American Soil, where does it say that she took the vow to become an American Citizen??? and this low life scum thinks she's better than American Citizens...not in my lifetime she will be and the thing that we should be doing is getting those people rounded up and drop them out of an airplane over Syria without a parachute at 40000 feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How DARE scum come into OUR COUNTRY and think they are better than we are and yes I stand with Our President and say, ‘GET THE HELL OUT’!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
