I rarely carry bills large enough to get checked, ha ha.
I can understand it if you’re paying for a small item with a large bill. One time, some jackwad in a Manhattan Starbucks decided to verify the $5 bill I gave him for a $2 purchase. So, I made a little show out of checking each single he gave me back to make absolutely sure it wasn’t fake. Got a good laugh at the guy’s expense from the other customers and made my point without violence.
