Regarding the “temple”, I’m behind and skimming so sorry if this is old info.
Looking at the roads, trees, flatwork surround, and details of the Temple, it appears to be about 16 by 16 feet, 256 square feet. I think the black “double door” is a window, though it could slide open. No opinion on the wooden appearing “doors”.
Has the aerial photo from after a hurricane hit the island been posted? The structure is completely gone, so I don’t think was concrete block at that time. The photo shows what appears to be an opening going underground, like a staircase. I looked for wreckage or debris in the photo but saw none. Might have already been cleaned up.
One possibility is a hurricane shelter, plus whatever else Epstein wanted, obviously. I hazard the guess that the temple is mainly a decorative entrance to rooms below. Otherwise it would have been hurricane resistant which is not hard given the size of the structure.
