After a 16-hour interview with British former spy Christopher Steele, the Justice Department is preparing a verdict on the improper verification of the infamous Steele Dossier, a discredited report arising from opposition-research resulting in the surveillance of the Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
Why should they “verify” it? The future president verified it, that was good enough for them.
Surveillance was not the “result” of the Steele Dossier. The surveillance was going on without a warrant, the dossier was used to secure a warrant ex post facto.
