Wondering about that, myself. It’s hard to say before the this case plays out more, concerning Dershowitz.
The DS, in a political sense, may want Dersh out of commission as much as law enforcement. Trump and Dershowitz were both well known to run in broad NYC circles.
POTUS has said he knew everybody, contributed to everybody in NYC, made friends and influenced people.
Dersh was a high profile Defense Attorney, who also played all sides and defended a lot of that circle. He betrayed the Left when he moved toward Trump.
