Does anyone believe Sandusky could molest kids for years and years like that with other people not knowing? This included starting a foundation for these kids, being caught in the shower raping one, and verification the head coach was notified.

Part of the narrative was that Penn State had put winning football games over the safety of children. How, though, did letting a guy who wasn't coaching or recruiting have full run of the Penn State athletic complex help them win football games?
As is the case in other instances, they threw out a scapegoat, and amputated what they had to to stop the bleeding. Note that they originally tried to protect Paterno, and when that didn't work, he was fired, and died less than two months later. **cough** cancer **cough**.
