Some of us are helping with the heavy lifting. We are serving on local boards despite a full plate career and kids in the household. We are sticking our necks out running for office for the first time in our lives, having never ever thought we'd do such. We are the ones on the scene when the local Meals on Wheels hits a zero bank balance. We are sticking our necks out at work, subtly at first, then with more assurance, for Christian values - even in the faces of those who peddle evil in the corporate workspace.
