Doesn’t it just boggle your mind that someone like JE can do the things he did and be smugly secure in knowing he won’t get arrested? I don't know how, but perhaps DOJ had enough leverage on Epstein that surrendering in the US was his best option. Or perhaps he was "assisted" onto the plane when it took off.

I think he was smug enough to think he was above it all and safe. If he thought he would be arrested and his property searched, I think the evidence they found would be gone.
