I’ve been through the full trek on diverticulitis. Beware you don’t want cipro to lose effectiveness. Ultimately surgery is likely required but it can get ugly
My son, an Rn, picked up the scripts; Cipro was one, Flagyl {metronidazole} was the second. We will see if the combination has any effect. To be clear, I am not positive that it is diverticulitis that I am dealing with. I was treated a few years ago and have had no recurrence. I guess we will see how good a diagnostician that I am. ;^)
