AT&T 9-1-1 for cellular service was knocked out overnight in the Midwest, came back 08:30 today (7/2).

dns and comcast issues in NE today That brings up a thought in the prepper vein. I keep a list of the IP addresses of all the sites I regularly visit. If the DNS servers go down for whatever reason a site can usually be addressed directly by their IP.
This may be old news to some but I'm sure there are others who don't know.
