The 6.4 was centered about 25 miles northeast of China Lake NAWS.

But the whole NAWS area is huge, right?

According to wikipedia, there are 19,600 square miles of restricted and controlled airspace at China Lake.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

Yes it is YUGE.. .like 1 million land acres YUGE. Do you have an atlas by any chance? I’m HTML illiterate. China Lake NAWS is separated by Hwy 178, and Searles and Searles Lake is not part of China Lake NAWS. CLNAWS encompasses massive areas northwest of Searles and southeast of Searles. Ridgecrest borders CLNAWS to the south, but the northerner area (haha does that make sense?) I have a Rand McNally Road Atlas book map. It’s got the boundaries. (and don’t I sound special lol?)
