Swedish authorities have delayed action on the Assange case while they continue their 'investigation'. They said they wouldn't report until August at the earliest. Their case is rape allegations against Assange.
A Swedish judge blocked the prosecutor's request to question, and extradite Assange from the UK. Then the prosecutors decided to continue their investigation. Was this a face-saving action for the prosecutors? Evidently, the statute of limitations for the Swedish case runs out in 2020.
Back in Ol' Blighty, Assange is about 12 weeks into serving a 50-week sentence for jumping bail in 2012. His next appearance will be in court on Friday via video. He is too ill to appear in person. The hearing is on his extradition and observers expect that the court will set a date for his full hearing, but make no decisions on the extradition itself. Brit prosecutors have certified the US extradition request as 'valid' but a judge will make the final determination whether to honor it.
Gabe Ryan Gilbert, 19, of Utah is charged with sexual exploitation and sexual extortion of minors for allegedly threatening young girls online in the hopes of obtaining nude photos from them.
I know the Salt Lake Tribune has tried really hard to cover up a lot of this stuff, we knew about it, but social media is letting more and more of this out, so IMHO Utah isn't the State it used to be...
No more open over night doors, no more not locking your car up; no more alarms and ‘door rings’; no more ‘come in when the street lights come on’; no more ‘I'm going away for a week, will you take in my mail, here's the key’...those days are long gone, how sad...

Thank you. I think everyone needs to get a healthy does of skepticism. Otherwise we look like a bunch of George Noories, and that would be bad. Very bad.

A lot of us read more than we post, and I don’t want to slide the thread with a bunch of “thanks” posts. To all who post things and don’t get much response, YES there are many of us who read the posts.
So, thank you sir.
Wasn’t fishing for thanks! But thanks! Oh, and psst...I’m not a sir.
Thanks Bob. I don’t use facebook anymore.

The News Reports about the Department of Commerce dropping its quest to put the Citizenship Question on the Census is incorrect or, to state it differently, FAKE! We are absolutely moving forward, as we must, because of the importance of the answer to this question.
I still say that goof is key.
Thanks Bob. I dont use facebook anymore.
I got off over a year ago and have been so happy! My teenage/young adult kids won’t touch it. And the other day a young mother I know announced she had deleted her account.
I hope business people are aware that they shouldn’t rely on FB as they are missing a whole untapped population and generation that isn’t using it. I understand the temptation to use it as a tool. But there are two businesses I know that I contacted through a friend (to get an email address) because they had no other way besides FB to be reached. Having all their eggs in one basket is not a good thing.
/Slide over!
If I knew how to post an emoji I would blow you a kiss. ;)
Additional about the Portland mayor and police from the article above:
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Monday called for the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate and bring action against the Portland mayor.
To federal law enforcement: investigate & bring legal action against a Mayor who has, for political reasons, ordered his police officers to let citizens be attacked by domestic terrorists, Cruz tweeted.

Why this film didn’t win Best Picture is a travesty!
Some days ago I read on here a post that wanted to know if we could call Antifa a terrorist group, well if one of the Senators named ‘domestic terrorists’ (Antifa) then we don't have to put up with their crap, lets arrest them, maybe having the ‘blue flu’ that day and let the Mayor handle the situation...
Great pics of tanks in DC. There is nothing like a military parade in Washington DC and then a glorious firework display later on. I heard the networks are going to show their regular programming instead of covering the festivities. CSPAN will cover it.
Try pressing your WINDOWS key and your ";" key at the same time and see what happens.
For Windows ten, not sure if it works on other OS.
I would blow you a kiss. ;)
