For me, keto works best in conjunction with fasting (intermittent is easiest). I still skip dinner several days a week to give my system a rest. Have done it for many, many years...long before autophagy became all the rage.
As an aside, I used to use daily fasting (skipping dinner) as a means to stay skinny for sports (biking and running). Only recently did I learn that it is such a good cleansing, rebuilding, and healing protocol. Who knew?;-)
Fasting, what a concept. :^) I actually don't eat more than two meals a day anyway, between work schedule and waking up late in the mornings. I just had a sliced up bratwurst-like hotdog in a Green Giant riced cauliflower with cheese steamer. It wasn't bad. That's a good thing, I've got three or so other varieties of it. May be a test market item, we get a lot of those in western Michigan (if it will sell here, it'll sell anywhere).
