It is human DNA. Neandertal DNA shows up in many if not most living humans -- and of course, the samples of DNA from morphologically Neandertal remains is pretty small.
Very few Neaderthals submitted samples to Ancestry or 23 and Me. They didn't trust the privacy promises.
