Is this what used to be called the Hittite Empire or a different one?
Thank you... I went and tried to find it on google earth and that lake shoreline is bigger than one would think. I was curious if there were any hints of similar structures around the area. It would take awhile.
But I did find an ancient civilization on the top of the mountain where Kursi is located and most of it has no roads to it. Looks like it was terrace farmed, but how did they get water up there? Must have been from a much much wetter time. If so it was a very very long time ago.
