I wonder how this will clash with health department regulations for food service-type jobs. I also expect that the military and law enforcement are not going to be too keen on just any old hairstyle.
I wouldn't expect this. The military has been updating their grooming standards in the direction of increased permissiveness in regards to hair regulations.
Lots of styles are allowed today that weren't just a few years ago.
